The employees of De Kok Xpress have more than 30 years of experience in arranging all kinds of transports at home and abroad. Over the years we have driven for customers in many industries and have also acquired a large number of regular customers, making us experienced in transporting shipments for very diverse and special industries. Whether it concerns the transport of hazardous substances, a large international shipment or additional services such as assembly assistance, nothing is too crazy for us. Dedicated transport

Dedicated transport, also known as dedicated transport or full service transport (FST transport), stands for transport with that extra bit of service. That is what we at De Kok Xpress from Tilburg stand for. We do not simply deliver your shipment to the location. We also understand that for you, as a customer, the service-oriented service to your client is important. We do everything we can to keep this at a high level.

If you use our dedicated transport, we will work with you to find a suitable solution for your assignment. Our drivers from Brabant ensure that your shipment is delivered full-service. We are happy to go the extra mile for you with dedicated transport. An example of our rapid switching and cooperation can be read below.

Early in the morning we were asked whether we could transport a load of plastic parts. Our customer's supplier had already promised to deliver several times, but he did not keep to this. Our customer was facing a deadline to process the products and in turn deliver them to his customers. We made a plan with our customer to get the shipment in as soon as possible with an express courier within the set limits. We were called in the morning, a few hours later the goods were on location. This way our customer could edit in time and send it again immediately.

Transports and industries

In some sectors, emergencies occur more often than others. For example, an important document that needs to be present at a meeting. Or a production that can come to a standstill because important parts are missing, which can cause financial damage. The Kok Xpress can act extremely quickly in these cases. We estimate the most efficient travel method and route and ensure that we are on our way to the location within half an hour.

Oil and gas industry
In the oil industry, many thousands of liters of oil are often processed per minute. Other companies are dependent on oil for the production of plastics, for example, or for the production of fuels, for example. You can imagine that it has major consequences when one of the important links in this industry, for example a drilling platform, comes to a standstill because a part is broken. In such a case, the costs are often incalculable and therefore every minute counts.

Tool industry
Molds and stamps that are used in factories to produce large numbers of products are often of great value to the factories. After all, they are essential links in the production process. This usually does not involve urgent jobs, but jobs in which the transported materials need to be sent with special care. Of course, it should not happen that the valuable dies get damaged. DKX provides exclusive transport in such a case. We have the materials and the knowledge in-house to transport valuable materials carefully. We ensure that the materials are professionally secured in the means of transport and fully adapt the transport to the materials to be transported.

Medical industry
In the medical industry, materials are often sensitive, think of the equipment that is produced in this sector. Companies often want the materials to be transported exclusively, and that the materials do not pass through too many hands. DKX ensures that the items are handed over directly and personally to the right person.

Examples of transports

Test material

The quality of many products/materials must be tested three times a year in connection with legislation and quality requirements, such as ISO certification. This applies, for example, to liquids, gases and concrete. These tests often take place in the region, but there are only a few test centers for specific products. For example, we go to Northern Germany to have cardboard tested and to Southern France to have concrete tested. In order not to influence the test result, these items must be transported to the test centers exclusively, and not in combination. These must of course also be returned, together with the test results.

Medical equipment

It sometimes happens that an important machine in a clinic breaks down and a loaner machine needs to be provided as quickly as possible. We then collect these from the client and place them in the right place in the clinic, possibly with the help of a technician from the clinic or from the client. We connect the loan machine and take the broken machine back with us. We then deliver these to the client as quickly as possible. We return the repaired device or the new device from the client to the clinic a few days later and the loan device is then returned to the client.

Bolts, nuts, screws and other mounting materials

These mounting materials also often have to be delivered as quickly as possible. Consider, for example, a machine that has come to a standstill due to the breaking of a bolt or an airport that is without power and needs parts. Every minute that a device or machine stands still costs money. You often have to drive through the night and sleep during the day to get the shipment to its destination as quickly as possible.

Shipments/parts for ships

DKX is regularly asked to deliver shipments to cruise ships/cargo ships that are only in a Dutch or European port for a few hours. Often something has broken along the way at sea or something is missing from the supplies on the ship. As soon as the ship docks, the shipment/part must go on the ship to minimize delays.

Documents from notaries, accountants and real estate agents

Often a stamp must be placed on the delivery address and the document must be returned immediately. Our drivers are happy to arrange this for you. It is also no problem if our drivers have to wait an hour for this, for example. This way the document never gets lost and the speed of return is optimal.

(Hazardous) substances

Supplying flavors/fragrances in the event of shortages or an error during the production process is also something for which DKX is often used. We can also transport dangerous substances with our ADR vehicles.
